🍄 Garlic Mushrooms & Cauliflower Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 small head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
  • 8–10 oz mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ½ tsp paprika (smoked if you have it)
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice or grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook the cauliflower
Heat 1½ tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add cauliflower, season with salt and pepper, and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and just tender.
  2. Add mushrooms
Push cauliflower to one side, add remaining oil, then add mushrooms.
Cook 5–7 minutes until mushrooms release moisture and brown.
  3. Add garlic & seasoning
Stir in garlic, paprika, and chili flakes. Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn the garlic).
  4. Finish & serve
Toss everything together. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Finish with parsley, lemon juice, or Parmesan if using.
