Ingredients (1 sandwich)
- 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
- 1–2 slices cheese (American, cheddar, or a mix)
- 1–2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions
- Butter the bread
Spread butter on one side of each slice. - Assemble
Place cheese between the unbuttered sides of bread. - Grill
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
Place sandwich in the pan and cook 3–4 minutes until golden brown. - Flip & finish
Flip carefully and cook another 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts and bread is crispy. - Serve
