Reuben Crescent Bake

Posted on January 26, 2026 by Admin

Oh yes—this is comfort food meets party food 😄🥪🌀 A Reuben crescent bake is basically all the flavors of a Reuben sandwich baked in a flaky crescent roll casserole.

Here’s a simple, crowd-pleasing recipe:

Reuben Crescent Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz corned beef, chopped or shredded
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 2–3 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
  • Optional: 1 tsp caraway seeds for extra Reuben flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the crescent dough
Unroll dough and press perforations together to form one solid rectangle. Place in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Layer the filling
    • Spread Thousand Island over the dough
    • Top with corned beef
    • Sprinkle with sauerkraut
    • Add Swiss cheese evenly on top
  4. Fold & finish
Fold edges of dough over slightly to contain filling. Optional: sprinkle caraway seeds on top.
  5. Bake
20–25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Serve
Let sit 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra Thousand Island for dipping.

Tips & Variations

  • Add onions or pickles for extra zing
  • For smaller portions: make in muffin tins
  • Can use turkey or pastrami instead of corned beef for a twist

If you want, I can make a super-fast, 15-minute Reuben crescent bake hack that’s perfect for last-minute lunches or game day snacks 😄

Do you want me to do that?
