- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt & pepper to taste

Make the Patties
- In a bowl, gently mix all steak ingredients (don’t overwork).
- Form into oval patties (about 4–6).
Brown the Patties
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high.
- Brown patties 3–4 minutes per side until nicely seared.
- Remove patties and set aside (they’ll finish cooking in the gravy).
Make the Onion Gravy
- Add butter to the same skillet.
- Add onions and cook over medium heat until soft and golden (15–20 minutes).
- Sprinkle flour over onions and cook 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer until gravy thickens.
Simmer Together
- Return patties to the skillet.
- Spoon gravy over them.
- Cover and simmer 10–15 minutes, until patties are cooked through and tender.
Serve With
- Mashed potatoes 🥔 (non-negotiable)
