Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or ziti)
  • 2 cups pizza sauce or marinara
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional add-ins

  • Cooked Italian sausage
  • Mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, onions
  • Provolone or parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix pasta, sauce, half the mozzarella, pepperoni, seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer mixture to baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and extra pepperoni.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned.
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier top, broil 2–3 minutes at the end.
  • Serve with garlic bread or a simple salad.
