Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls

Posted on February 12, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple, no-bake Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls recipe — perfect for quick treats, holidays, or edible gifts.

🍫 Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter (creamy)
  • ¼ cup honey or light corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Extra melted chocolate or sprinkles (optional for coating)

Instructions

  1. Melt the mixture
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, honey (or corn syrup), and butter. Stir constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  2. Add cereal
Pour the mixture over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Gently stir until fully coated.
  3. Form balls
Let mixture cool slightly (so it’s easier to handle). Scoop about 1 tablespoon at a time and roll into balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Chill
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  5. Optional coating
Dip in melted chocolate or drizzle on top. Add sprinkles before chocolate sets.

Storage

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 1 week
  • Freeze up to 2 months

If you’d like, I can also give you:

  • A 3-ingredient super simple version
  • A holiday coconut version
  • Or a peanut-free version 😊
