Here’s a simple, flavorful Crockpot Honey Teriyaki Chicken recipe that’s perfect for meal prep or an easy weeknight dinner.


🍯 Crockpot Honey Teriyaki Chicken

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds, sliced green onions

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce:
    In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Add to crockpot:
    Place chicken in the slow cooker. Pour sauce over the top.
  3. Cook:
    • Low: 4–5 hours
    • High: 2–3 hours
      (Chicken should be tender and cooked through.)
  4. Shred the chicken:
    Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the crockpot.
  5. Thicken the sauce:
    In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch. Stir into the crockpot.
    Cook on high for 15–20 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve:
    Spoon over rice, noodles, or steamed veggies. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
