🧀 Easy Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, oil (or butter), and egg.
  4. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients just until combined.
  5. Fold in shredded cheese.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan.
  7. Bake 35–45 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.

🌟 Optional Add-Ins

  • Garlic powder (½ tsp)
  • Chopped jalapeños
  • Herbs (rosemary, thyme, or chives)
  • Bacon bits

🕒 Storage

  • Room temperature: 1–2 days (wrapped)
