Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

For the Meatloaf:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey
  • 1 cup prepared stuffing (your favorite boxed mix or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or sage
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup or tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the meatloaf mixture:
    In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, prepared stuffing, chopped onion, garlic, milk, egg, salt, pepper, thyme/sage, and paprika. Mix gently until everything is evenly incorporated.
  3. Shape and place in pan:
    Transfer the mixture into the loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Add topping:
    Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Spread evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake:
    Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Rest and serve:
    Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a green salad.

💡 Tips

  • For extra moisture, add 1/4 cup grated zucchini or carrot to the meat mixture.
  • Leftovers make great sandwiches the next day.
  • Use leftover stuffing from a holiday meal for a seasonal twist.
