Here’s a simple and tasty Creamy Chicken & Carrot Spread — great for sandwiches, crackers, wraps, or toast. 🥕🐔🥪


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or finely chopped)
  • ½ cup carrots (finely grated)
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp yogurt or sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley or green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken
    Shred or chop the cooked chicken very finely.
  2. Mix the base
    In a bowl combine mayonnaise, cream cheese, yogurt, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Add ingredients
    Stir in the chicken and grated carrots.
  4. Season
    Add salt, black pepper, and herbs if using.
  5. Chill (recommended)
    Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes so the flavors blend.

How to Serve

This spread works well with:

  • Sandwich bread 🍞
  • Crackers
  • Toast
  • Wraps or pita
  • As a dip for cucumber slices
