Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1-inch thick)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Glaze

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, but 🔥)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops
    Pat dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chops
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add pork chops and cook 3–4 minutes per side until nicely browned.
    Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the glaze
    Lower heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet.
    Stir in honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and paprika.
    Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Glaze & finish
    Return pork chops to the skillet. Spoon glaze over them.
    Cook another 2–4 minutes, flipping once, until pork reaches 145°F (63°C) and is glossy and coated.
  5. Rest & serve
    Let rest 5 minutes. Spoon extra glaze on top before serving.

  • Mashed potatoes or rice (they love that glaze)
  • Roasted green beans or carrots
  • Simple side salad for balance

Quick Variations

  • Spicy: Add chili flakes or sriracha
  • Maple glaze: Swap honey for maple syrup
  • Mustard kick: Whisk in 1 tsp Dijon mustard
