Caramel chocolate crunch bars

Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars are rich dessert bars with a crunchy base, gooey caramel center, and a chocolate topping. They’re easy to make and perfect for snacks or parties. 🍫✨


Ingredients

Base / Crunch Layer

  • 2 cups crushed Graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • ½ cup melted Butter
  • 2 tbsp Sugar

Caramel Layer

  • 1 cup soft Caramel candies or caramel sauce
  • 2 tbsp Heavy cream

Chocolate Topping

  • 1½ cups melted Milk chocolate or Dark chocolate
  • 1 cup crispy Rice cereal (for the crunch)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base
    • Mix crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar.
    • Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking pan.
    • Chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
  2. Make the caramel layer
    • Melt caramel candies with heavy cream on low heat.
    • Stir until smooth and pour over the chilled base.
    • Refrigerate for 20 minutes until slightly firm.
  3. Chocolate crunch topping
    • Melt chocolate and mix with rice cereal.
    • Spread evenly over the caramel layer.
  4. Chill & cut
    • Refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
    • Cut into bars or squares and serve. 🍫

Tips for Extra Flavor

  • Sprinkle a little Sea salt on top for salted caramel bars.
  • Add chopped Almonds or Peanuts for extra crunch.
  • Drizzle melted white chocolate for decoration.
