Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the shrimp
    Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  2. Make the sauce
    In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
    Pour in broth and let it reduce slightly, about 2 minutes.
    Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, whisking until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Combine
    Return shrimp to the skillet and coat in the sauce.
    Simmer 1–2 minutes to warm through.
  4. Finish
    Stir in chopped parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  5. Serve
    Over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for dipping.
