Ingredients
- 1 small head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
- 8–10 oz mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil or butter
- ½ tsp paprika (smoked if you have it)
- ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
- Optional: squeeze of lemon juice or grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Cook the cauliflower
Heat 1½ tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add cauliflower, season with salt and pepper, and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and just tender. - Add mushrooms
Push cauliflower to one side, add remaining oil, then add mushrooms.
Cook 5–7 minutes until mushrooms release moisture and brown. - Add garlic & seasoning
Stir in garlic, paprika, and chili flakes. Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn the garlic). - Finish & serve
Toss everything together. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Finish with parsley, lemon juice, or Parmesan if using.
