Ingredients

For the chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

For the noodles & sauce:

  • 8 oz egg noodles or any pasta
  • 2½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken
    Rub chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Sear chicken
    Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown (doesn’t need to be fully cooked yet). Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook noodles in the pan
    In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
    Add broth + noodles, stir, and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook 8–10 minutes until noodles are almost tender.
  4. Add chicken back & cream
    Place chicken on top of noodles. Pour in cream and butter, cover, and simmer 5–7 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F and noodles are tender.
  5. Finish with cheese & garnish
    Stir in Parmesan. Taste and adjust seasoning. Sprinkle parsley on top.
  6. Serve
    Everything comes out creamy, buttery, and perfect—no extra pots needed.

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juicy flavor
  • Add frozen peas, mushrooms, or spinach in the last 5 minutes for a veggie boost
