🥦 Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1–2 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for sweetness)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Optional toppings: grated Parmesan, crushed red pepper flakes, or toasted nuts

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

2️⃣ Season

  • In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and balsamic vinegar (if using).

3️⃣ Roast

  • Spread sprouts cut-side down on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until crispy on the edges and tender inside.
