Instructions

    In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, and black pepper. Let it sit 10–15 minutes.

    In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, black pepper, sugar, and stock. Stir well and set aside.
  3. Cook the beef:
    Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

  5. Combine beef and sauce:
    Return the beef to the wok. Pour in the sauce and stir well.
    Add cornstarch slurry to thicken. Cook 1–2 minutes until the sauce coats everything nicely.
