Here’s a simple, comforting way to make slow cooker cabbage—it turns soft, flavorful, and slightly sweet with almost no effort.


🥬 Slow Cooker Cabbage (Basic Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 1 large green cabbage (chopped into wedges or chunks)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tsp paprika or chili flakes for a kick

Instructions:

  1. Layer everything
    Put cabbage, onion, and garlic into your slow cooker.
  2. Add liquid & seasoning
    Pour in broth, then add butter/oil, salt, pepper, and any extra spices.
  3. Cook

    • High: 3–4 hours
  4. Finish & serve
    Stir gently before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning.
