Ohhh this one’s cozy-comfort level 💯
Here’s a Slow Cooker Creamy 3-Ingredient Rice Pudding that’s basically set-it-and-forget-it.
Slow Cooker Creamy 3-Ingredient Rice Pudding 🍚🥛
Ingredients
- ½ cup short-grain rice (or arborio for extra creaminess)
- 4 cups milk (whole milk = creamiest)
- ¼–⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk (to taste)
Instructions
- Rinse the rice until the water runs mostly clear.
- Add rice, milk, and condensed milk to the slow cooker.
- Stir well, cover, and cook:
- LOW for 3–4 hours, or
- HIGH for 2–2½ hours
- Stir every 30–45 minutes if you can (helps prevent sticking).
- When rice is tender and pudding is thick and creamy, it’s done.
- Serve warm — it’ll thicken more as it cools.
Tips (Optional but Helpful)
- If it gets too thick, stir in a splash of warm milk.
- Lightly grease the slow cooker to avoid sticking.
- Short-grain rice is best — long-grain won’t be as creamy.
Easy Add-Ons (still minimal effort)
- Cinnamon or vanilla 🌿
- Raisins or chopped dates
- Nutmeg or cardamom
- Fresh berries on top
