Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or spicy sausage)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded Mexican-blend cheese
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (drained)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1–2 jalapeños, minced (optional but encouraged 🌶️)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Green onions or cilantro, for topping
Instructions
- Brown the meat
Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning and set aside. - Mix the base
In a large bowl, combine refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, Rotel, onion, and jalapeños. - Layer & cheese it up
Spread mixture into a greased baking dish.
